OK - you get the idea that I really do like to hunt or as Kevin would say, "Take your weapon for a walk." I have been drawn for general BULL elk season in unit 7E.
I will be diligent to make this a better hunt that this one. Now back to happy thoughts.

Centerfire, blackpowder or archery?
General season is a centerfire. I will take the 300 Win Mag with the 30-06 as a backup.

It appears that there will be a DIFFERENT guide involved. This guide comes highly recommended by people I actually know. I had a very long conversation about the method of hunting so the infamous "death marches" are not anticipated. Probably a lot more time spent glassing. Never know, might even have a good time!
