"Thompson, who also ran briefly for the Republican nomination for president in 2008, said the campaign is consistent with the country's constitutional principles. "
It may be consistent with the country's "current constitutional principles" but it is in no way constitutional. I do not think that your current principles or lack thereof should necessarily override the constitution.
Oh no Fred, what happened to you? Medications kicking in or wearing off?

"Well, that fence is now basically complete."
POTUS needs a new speech writer as they should have used "virtually" instead of "basically". Then he couldn't be accused of being a liar as virtual means - not in reality. Does anyone actually believe these speeches and the nonsense that is spewed?

I ran across an article on Power Line that May 10th was Fred Astaire's birthday. Frederick Austerlitz was born this day in 1899, in Omaha, Nebraska. He would have been 112. He actually died in 1987 at the age of 88.
My daughters like watching some of the old musicals as they were both involved in dance. Enjoy some fine footwork!
